The bandana is back, and a blank cotton one is the easiest hotfix project there is.
Everything about a bandana suits hotfix: it is thin, flat, 100% cotton and takes heat well, so it is the fabric a first hotfix project should be done on. What is different is that a bandana is almost never seen flat. Folded into a triangle for the hair or knotted at the neck, three-quarters of the cloth is hidden, so a design spread evenly over the square mostly disappears. Work out how you will wear it, fold it, and put the stones where they land.
100% cotton blanks, the easiest fabric to hotfix.

Hotfix glass in SS10 for fill and SS16 for outlines. They survive washing far better than glued stones.
About 1,900 for a corner motif at 3 mm; a fully covered square needs several times more.
Yes — an iron with a pressing cloth and firm pressure works, though the results are more even with an applicator or press.
