What are you bedazzling?

Pick the surface. The finder gives the method, glue and stones, and what to watch out for.

Updated November 2026 · United States

How the finder decides

Four properties settle most projects: whether the surface is porous (glue can key into it), whether it takes heat, how much it flexes, and whether it has low surface energy (silicone and soft polyethylene or polypropylene, which almost nothing sticks to). Washing, mouth contact and a child doing the work add warnings on top.

The same rules sit behind every object guide on this site, so the advice is consistent wherever you read it.

Common questions

Can you bedazzle anything?

Nearly. Silicone and soft plastics are the main exceptions, and anything that flexes hard or gets hot needs the right glue.
